Udella moved with a happy bounce in her step. Around her the birds chirped and everything seemed serene. She knew she was trespassing but, the temptation of the was just to much to resist. Udella didn't really think that anyone would catch her anyhow being that she blended in with the scenery almost perfectly. Her thin body weaved through the trees the scent of the 'normal' wolves filling her nostrils. Udella didn't quite understand the difference between herself and them. Eyes wide with fascination she paused, before her was a large orange colored fungi. It smelled of almonds and the scent seemed sickly sweet. Udella blanched then moved past the plant. The trees above her were large and seemed to go on forever and the soft ground beneath her feet was pleasant. The wisp of ferns brushing her legs as she moved was somewhat comforting. The young wolf missed her mother but, she was old enough now to take care of herself. The tangy scent of rabbit wafted into her nostrils, making her mouth water. It had been awhile since she had caught something descent to eat and it showed by how thin Udella was becoming.
Moving into a slow trot Udella let her nose fall down to the ground trying to track the scent. She wasn't very good at hunting but, she gave it her best to try. The crack of a stick breaking made her cringe. She knew she had made the noise and as if to mock her a feeling rabbit ruffled the ferns before her. Udella sighed, frustrated she slowed to a stop plopping down against a tree. She searched all about her ears picking up the sweet tune of a chickadee. A thin smile spread across her face at the sound. Udella let a couple chirp like barks trying to match the chickadee's high notes only to fail. Even so it made her giggle at the absurdity of what she was doing. Udella's eyes shifted down to her fur the golden crescent moons and arrow standing out like a sore thumb on her green fur. Slowly she slid down so she was laying on her side eying some burs that had attached themselves to her tail. With slow precision she went about to pulling at them. Her thoughts strayed to the wolves that made there home in the forest and she wondered what it would be like to be one of them. Udella had never thought much on being apart of a pack but, to have other wolves about her was something she craved. She also wondered what it was like to hunt in a pack and actually be able to fill her stomach. They were wistful thoughts she knew and Udella didn't ever see herself actually being accepted into a pack At least not yet.
Having plucked all the burrs Udella lurched up. Shaking the bit's of dirt. With a smile she set of yet again at a trot. She wondered what would happen if she actually got caught. Would they escort her out of their territory or would she get her ass chewed and run off? Udella had little idea but, it didn't matter because she didn't on getting caught.

Jasper hadn't been a member of the pack for very long, but so far things were going well. The alpha was obviously happy with how loyal and obedient the white brute was. Most alphas would be lucky to have a brute like Jasper in their pack. He was loyal, trustworthy, and fierce. He would follows orders perfectly and defend the pack when needed. He body was large and well built, a perfect warrior. His white pelt might stand out a lot against the colors of the forest, but when winter came he was perfectly hidden. He could ambush his prey with ease and didn't worry about being seen. A great hunter, worthy opponent, and loyal friend. What more could you ask for in a male? But Jasper had no interest in females. It wasn't that he liked males instead, he just had his heart broken and felt that he would never love again. It was hard for him to ever even think about letting himself get close to a female. The only thing that he could ever think about is Akela, and how much it hurt when he lost her. No, he had promised himself that he would never go through that kind of pain again. So Jasper has sworn off females all together, again.
Jasper had left the alpha and the female Icebreaker alone, deciding to wander the territory himself. It was obvious to him that the female was trying to get the alpha's attention and his heart it seemed. He honestly didn't care, let the alpha and female have each other. He was happy that he was being left alone, it was exactly what he wanted. His large paws padded softly against the ground. His head was low, nostrils flaring at ever scent that crossed them. His auds twitched at the sound of birds and other small creatures, his eyes rolling. Stupid little happy creatures, he thought to himself. A heavy sigh escaped his throat as he continued to wander around the pack lands by himself. But just then, something hit his nose. He wasn't actually alone on the pack lands after all. There was a new, strange, scent in the air. His muscles tightened and his fur bristled, making him look even larger than he already is.
Picking up his pace, the white brute thudding along the ground in the direction of the scent. His auds pricked atop his head as he lifted his head high, though not too high. He wasn't dominant here, so although he held his head up he was careful it wasn't a dominant pose. His jaws parted and he let out a quick warning howl to both the stranger and for the alpha. He snorted and then slipped through the woods quickly, following his nose to the lone wolf. He was stopped in his tracks however, when he saw a pure green figure heading his way. He had never seen a wolf like this before, with such odd colorings and markings. The fur on his neck stood and he let a small growl rumble up his chest in warning. "Who are you? And what is your purpose here?" he asked, though it was more of a demand. He didn't trust this strange wolf, his bright green orbs never leaving the figure.

So much for her plan she thought silently. Eyes wide she stared in to a pair of green ones similar to her own. The male was large and bristling and the smile that had been on her lips fell. He didn't seem to happy with finding her and the urge to just run filled her. She ignored the urge holding her ground. Udella didn't like that he was growling at her and she was tempted to growl back. Wouldn't that surprise if she could get all puffy and growl back. Shaking her head at the thought she realized he had growled out a question at her. A grin spread across her face even though he was being aggressive, she wasn't going to act afraid. "Well my name is Udella, and do I have to have a purpose to want to take a walk in the woods? Who might you be and what's you purpose here?" Udella mimicked back the question he had asked her wondering if he would actually answer it. She was still young but, she wasn't about to back down from the male.
Even so Udella realized that she was still at fault for it was obvious she was trespassing. Though she didn't want to think of it as such. The birds still sang above her and it made her want to prance about and chase them. They were childish thoughts but, that didn't mean they were wrong to think about."You know, I've always wondered what it would be like to sing like a bird, don't you?" Scatterbrained as always she let her thoughts flow from her mouth like breath. Udella was never ashamed at what came out of her mouth having no filter between her thoughts and her mouth. Her eyes flicked back to the male, she could see suspicion in them though she didn't understand why it was there. Perhaps he had known a wolf that had looked like her and they had not liked one another.
Reeling her thoughts back to the situation being presented before her. Udella shifted from foot to foot slightly impatient for him to speak. She was slightly agitated by being caught by the male but, her real concern was that he had signaled to the alpha and she wasn't sure she wanted to stick around for him to arrive. Udella wasn't a timid wolf but, she wasn't a dumb one either no matter how flighty she seemed. Eyes slightly narrowing she waited for the male to speak hopefully she could take her leave before other wolves showed up and got all pissy about her being in there territory.

Soft supple grass tickled the large pads of the brown beast trotting slowly through the trees. Soft fur brushed the soft green leaves of the ferns around the brutish build of the female. Her startling blue eyes scanned the trees carefully searching for others. Her ears pricked up suddenly at the sound of a distant growl. She smirked and wondered what wolf she would be running into ahead of her. Her mind wondered as she slowed to a walk. She thought of the last time she had seen another wolf, alive. How long had it been now, three months, no more like four? She rolled her shoulders and smiled at the power she felt below her brown fur. She strode calmly into a clearing, glanced around then unfolded her wings. She sighed at the pure joy of having her wings sunned. She looked over the leathery appendages. Half of her wings were bathed in the shadow of a mighty tree. This part was a deep gray color, while the half in the sun was a deep purple. She flexed her wings preparing her body and mind. Suddenly she jumped straight up into the air and flapped her wings in a smooth repetitive movement. Her body lifted up into the air, searching for the right air current, finding it she let her body glide. She watched the ground carefully, searching for the wolf she had heard growl. She tried to stick to the thick white clouds to smoother the blinding refelction off of her wings. She spotted the wolf, large and bristling. She looked over his large white body. 'He would like a good opponent for me, if we were to fight…' She shook her head softly the flew on searching for more wolves, and wanting to know the land a little more before touching down behind the wolf she assumed was a brute. She soon saw another large wolf, and a slightly smaller wolf. She watched them talk, then turned and flew back to the wolf in the clearing. She let her wings fold in a little, enjoying the wind rushing through her brown fur. 'I think I’ll talk to him, and if he wants to fight; a fight he shall get.' She let her paws touch the ground with a soft thump behind the wolf. She sniffed the air quickly and was startled slightly to find that another wolf was there. She called quickly and put a warm smile on her face. She held her tail a little below what an alpha would do then walked to his side to see the green pelted female. She took the moment of silence to introduce herself, “My name is Pryomors. I mean no harm, but harm shall come to any who ask for it.” She kept one ear on each wolf, and her eyes on the male, since he seemed to be the aggressor.

Jasper had only just gotten to the pack lands himself and already he found himself defending his alpha's territory. This stranger had crossed the border without so much as a call to the alpha. Surely she had smelled the strong scent markers that Mareth had left, so there was no excuse for her ignorance. If there was one thing that really got on Jasper's nerves it was ignorance. Pack leaders and rules should be respected by all. His ears twitched as the she-wolf spoke her name and then continued on. His eyes narrowed on her and he lowered his head a bit. "When the lands you walk upon belong to someone else, then yes you need a purpose. Especially when you have not announced your presence to the alpha of the land" he explained, lifting his head back up. He snorted at her as she had mimicked his question right back at him. "My name is Jasper and I am part of this pack" he told her, his tail flicking from side to side. He was aggravated with the young female for her ignorance and mimicking.
His head tilted to the side and he looked curiously at the strange female. She was talking like a pup and acting like one too. She didn't look that young, but apparently she was younger then she looked. Either that or she simply had the mentality of a young pup. Whichever it was she still wasn't going to get away with trespassing on the pack lands. "No I do not" he said simply, snorting at the suggestion of it. His tail flicked again and then lay limp behind his back as he stared down the female. He still wanted to know why she was really here. "I think it's time you answered my question. You have entered into pack territory. Do you realize that is trespassing? That that is a serious offense to most and if the alpha saw fit you could be attacked without a second thought?" he questioned her. He wasn't sure if Mareth was the type of alpha to have trespassers attacked or chased from his lands. In fact he didn't know much about him at all just yet. But he knew that if they were his lands he wouldn't be too kind to trespassers.
His ears twitched at the sound of a soft thump behind him, his body spinning half way so that the green female was still in sight. He growled and his fur bristled again as his green orbs fell upon another strange figure. This wolf had wings! What the hell was going on around here? He was feeling very uncomfortable now with two strange wolf creatures standing on either side of him. His ears slanted back a bit on his head and his lip quivered over his fangs. As his nostrils flared he took in the new wolf's scent and realized that he was dealing with yet another female. It seemed all of the females around these parts were ignorant trespassers. His green orbs narrowed on this new female as she strode forward to come around him and see Udella. Before he could speak the female was introducing herself and apparently making a warning. He growled again, this time from shear annoyance. "What are you?" he asked rather bluntly. He was getting tired of the strange wolves and he had only met two. Though he was even more tired of being around damned females. He lifted his head and stood tall, staring down Pyromors. "If you mean no harm then I shall ask, what is your purpose upon these lands?" he asked. He just hoped that Mareth would show up soon so that he might know what to do.

Udella stared at the male as he chewed her out for trespassing. Though she thought it would be stupid to call out for an alpha when it was obvious they didn't like her kind. It was like raising the white flag before anything actually started. Pulling away from her thoughts Udella listened as the male stated his name. She could see the annoyance in Jasper's eyes as well as in the flick of his tail. Then the annoyance slid from him replaced curiosity that mad e her squirm. He spoke answering her last question and his answer made her frown. He obviously had no imagination it seemed or perhaps he was in a bad mood she thought silently.
His questioning voice once again pulled her from her thoughts. He was asking her if she knew the consequence of trespassing. Of course she knew she wasn't stupid. Rolling her eyes she spoke. "Yes I do know the consequences thank you very much... But really I wasn't planning on staying here long or getting caught. Though it seems I've done the later and I guess there's no changing that... But I really don't plan on staying until the alpha gets here." Green orbs stared at the white male a gleam of pride in them.
Udella's eyes widened as a female wolf with large wings landed behind Jasper. The soft thump of her landing drew the male's attention away from her. Udella was tempted to sneak away at that moment but, the warm smile that was plastered on the other female's lips stopped her. Then the female spoke saying something about she wasn't going to harm anyone unless someone was asking for it. She also spoke her name. Udella could not stop staring at the Pryomors' face The fire and ice markings on one eye were fascinating as well as the green dot's in her eyes. With out really thing Udella moved forward to get a better look. "Wow you're eyes are really pretty"She stated softly still studying pryomors her eyes flicking to the female's large wings. Udella hadn't been around many other wolves so she was quite fascinated with those who had strange markings and appendages.

Her smile stayed sweet and welcoming as the other wolves took in her appearance. The male clearly wasn’t happy with her being here. His anger made her sniff the air to see what he meant about her being here. Now that she was on the ground she could clearly smell the sent markers. Her smile fell quickly and she lowered her tail slightly. She could tell by the markers that this male was not the alpha, but she dipped her head to him in respect. Her voice was apologetic and gentle, “I could not smell the scent markers from the air, I am sorry for trespassing. I will call your alpha if you would like me too, but you seem more than capable of taking care of a trespasser.” She smiled at the male trying to make him less angry. She turned to look over the female. She smiled at the female’s words and replied, “Well thank you I don’t hear that very often.” She laughed softly a gleeful melodic sound. She looked over the female now sure she wouldn’t be attacked by her; she turned back to the bristling male. ”I can tell you are not use to wolves like me, strange.” Her voice reassuring as she looked at him calmly. She cocked her head as if her statement had been a question. Her mind wondered a little as she thought about the first time she had seen a plain wolf. Her eyes had bulged to the point of popping out of her skull. The wolf had been black with yellow eyes, and that was it. Nothing was different about him, he had no wings, no odd colors, his eyes were plain; he was just boring to look at. She blinked and stretched her feathers looking back over the male in front of her. He was also a plan wolf; white with green eyes. The female on the other hand was different, very different. Pryomors looked over her green coat and odd yellow markings, they were very interesting. She had noticed the other female pad closer, she wasn’t worried. She was long legged, and thin; the total opposite of Pyro herself. She was thick bodied, with a stocky frame, and thick well trained muscles. The male was more like herself, and she looked over his body once more careful to keep her deep chested body relaxed. Suddenly she realized something, ”I don’t know either of your names.” She looked at them both and figured the males name would be as plan as his pelt and the female’s as odd as her flashy green and yellow fur.

It had been so long... So long... There was a time when she thought about death, about throwing herself off that clifftop pack into the valley far below. Everyday, she would wake and sit beneath that single tree and stare out across the valleys, wishing things would have turned out better. At night, as she lay in her den, the scent of him long gone, the dream would return, the fire, the death and the pain. She had told him to go, told the whole pack to go and she would save the pups. She wished she would have died in the fire instead of the pups. Now she was alone, too alone. She had no idea where the pack went and had been too wounded to go after them. By the time she was healthy enough to leave, the scent trail had gone cold and she had been stuck on that mountaintop with no one to talk to and no one to comfort her. She was entirely alone.
But it had been too long. For years she had wanted solitude to mourn over her lost pups but now, even after the death of this last litter, she wanted more than anything, to be comforted in the arms of her mate, the only one who could truly understand and help her; Jasper. So, one morning, she woke from her den and, leaving everything she ever knew behind, she started down the mountain in the one direction, she prayed, her pack had gone.
Sadly, years passed. She was chased from packs, raped by rogue males and nearly killed by diseased wolves and still, she searched for her pack, for Jasper. She no longer felt her broken heart. The pieces had shriveled and turned to dust and no longer allowed room for anything else. Her only hope was to find him before she completely taken over by the rage and loss she had gone through before she met him.
Finally, she had come to this pack. She could smell the scent markers but she had no high hopes for this pack either. Usually, when she explained her problem, who she was looking for, they would spit in her face, laugh and chase her off. But she never gave up. She stopped outside the pack boundaries and sniffed the scent marker indicating an Alpha. She sighed and threw up her head, calling to the Alpha. She had found, over the years, that the nicer she was before she asked, the less wolves they sent to chase her off.
Weak, thin and fur deeply matted, she laid down, unable to hold herself up any longer. Besides, it would probably take the Alpha ages to get to her so she would take this time to get in a quick nap before she had to run for her life. Please... Please help me find him... she whispered.

[bg=1e2c46][atrb=width,400,true][atrb=border,0,true]If the female knew the consequences of trespassing, then why had she done so? Why would any sane wolf pass into marked territory without admittance? It was one of the dumbest things he could think of. Never in his many years of travel had he ever entered into pack lands without first seeking out permission. She didn't plan on getting caught? Such an ignorant loner way of thinking. He growled his frustration as she continued on with her little speech, not at all happy. His ears pinned back against his head as she said proudly that she would not be around when the alpha did get here. "I don't appreciate the ignorance wench. Your lucky I have not run you from these lands already for trespassing" he growled. Typically he was at least polite to females, but this young female was ignorant and rude. He could only take so much, and she had pushed him over the edge.
His attention was pulled to the winged female, feeling overwhelmed. He could certainly use some male company right about now. But he was holding himself strong and would not let these females get the better of him. The way this new female dipped her head and lowered her tail was respectful, a nice touch from what he had been receiving thus far. "Apology accepted Miss. Only if you plan on staying will I make you call for the alpha. Or I could take you to him. Otherwise I will let you stay and finish any conversation and then escort you out" he said politely. He was grateful that this female was being so kind and polite, it was like a breath of fresh air compared to the other female.
He listened to the females speak, his ears twitching atop his head. Then his head tilted to the side a bit as Pyromors spoke to him once more. "Until now I have not many any wolves like the two of you" he admitted to her. Odd markings wasn't too crazy to see, but wings was very strange. He glanced between Udella and Pyromors carefully, still cautious. He didn't like Udella, and he didn't trust her not to try and make an attack. Though Pyromors was being very polite and respectful, he still didn't trust her. But he was a little comfortable around her at the least. His green eyes focused on the winged female now, noticing her looking over his frame. He wasn't comfortable with it, but he wasn't going to say anything about it. "My name is Jasper, Ma'am" he said in a calm tone.
His attention however was drawn away from the two females when a howl rang through the lands. He groaned and shook out his pelt, his ears pricked atop his head. A long sigh escaped his muzzle and he lowered his head, feeling exhausted. "If you will excuse me for a moment ladies, I must see to this caller" he said, annoyance apparent in his tone. He began to step forward and then stopped, looking back at the two females. "I would really appreciate it if you both did not enter the pack lands any farther without my being there" he said and then bowed his head respectfully.
Jasper took off at a quick run, following the direction that the howl had come from. He raised his head, his nostrils flaring. He caught a strange scent, one that was most definitely feminine. Great another female. He quickened his pace and followed the scent, trying to find the female who had called out. The scent was getting stronger, so he knew that he was getting closer to the female. He slowed his pace just a bit, now at a slow run. His breath caught in his throat and he skidded to a stop, almost tripping over his feet. The female's body on the ground had come up suddenly and he would have run over her if he hadn't stopped quickly. He was panting as he stared at the pathetic form on the ground. The female's fur was matted and dirty, her body looked sickly thin. "Miss? Are you alright?" he asked softly, lowering his head to look at her. She seemed familiar, but he wasn't really sure why. It didn't matter, he needed to figure out what she was doing here and then get back to the others. He didn't like leaving two strange females alone on the lands. |

Udella gave a distasteful click as the male walked away. Yeah she was definitely going to stay put. Not. The male was a fool to think tat she would. Her eyes flicked to Pyro and she wondered how high the female could fly and if in fact that since she had wings could she see like a bird? There would only be one way to find that out she'd have to ask but, that would cut into her getting away time. The descision was a hard one and she decided on the later. A rueful smile spread across the young female's lips as she looked into Pyro's bright blue eyes.
"Could I ask you a question Pyro? Since you have wings does that mean you can sing like a bird aswell? Oh by the way I'm Udella it's a pleasure to meet you!"
She almost sang her question being in a frightfully good mood. The crooked smile that was lit upon her lips slightly faded as the green female wondered who the other wolf could be. She turned her gaze to where themale jasper had retreated off in. Udella was tempted to trackthe male down to figure out what waws going on but, that would probably be rude now that she thought about it to leave Pyro all by her lonesome. Perhaps if she asked the other female would come with her to check out who the other wolf was. Turning her gaze back to pyro she spoke.
"So would you be at all interested in acompanying me to go see who this other wolf is?"
She gave the other female a sweet smile hoping she would agree and they could go take a look. Udella also wondereed how the male would react to them moving though he had said to stay put. His reaction she thought would be entertaining. This whole meeting of sorts was entertaining and Udella wondered how long that would actually last.

Pyro smiled bright as he spoke down to the green female, she certainly was not on his good side. She nodded as he spoke to her directly. “I will not be staying, I am sorry to have tress paced; I couldn’t smell the markers from the air. I will be taking my leave shortly.” Her ears pricked at the sudden howl, which sounded weak. She wanted to rush off and help the poor wolf, but the howl was clearly meant for a pack member. “Will do Mister Jasper,” her voice was warm as he turned to leave. She turned her attention to the female, Udella. She listened, and watched her movements. She laughed softly, a rich happy sound, “I happen to think I can sing, but you can answer that for yourself.” She slowly opened her moth and sang, her voice was sweet, and well-practiced. She cut her song short and cocked her head as Udella spoke of following Jasper. “Doesn’t that sound rude? You would be intruding on his pack duties.” She shook her head as the question. She would admit she was curious, but she wouldn’t dare intrude on something like that. ”I think I will do as Jasper asked US and leave. It was nice meeting you, and if you see him again, will you please inform him that I left?” She smiled softly and started to leave, then turned, “How rude of me, it was nice to meet you Udella”She turnedand quckly trotted off.

She hadn't expected a voice to speak to her so soon. She half expected to stay here all day into the night till someone appeared. She had hoped to get some sleep before someone appeared so that she had enough strength to get up and run when they chased her off. However, besides the fact of hearing a voice, was the fact that the voice was pleasant and genuinely concerned. She blinked open her emerald green eyes and raised them to look at him. Everything seemed to stand still. The breath left her lungs in a gasp and her body tensed. She didn't even realize her mouth had dropped open. Then, like the off switch was turned on, everything sped up and instead of being tense, she felt like a bowl of jelly.
She came to her shaking feet and stood nose to nose to him, her eyes wide and filled with tears. She had to swallow a few times before she could speak. Jasper? Is that really you? She could barely speak and just managed to breath those words out. Her heart was thudding away in her chest and felt like it was going to burst forth and shower both of them with the love and happiness she felt for him. She never thought she would ever see him again and having him there before felt like it was all a dream.
It's me, Akela. I survived and I've been looking for you everywhere. She swallowed, holding back the urge to jump on him and shower him with kisses.
