[bg=000000][atrb=width,450,true][atrb=border,0,true] Vice flicked his ears slightly as the sound of a howl rolled threw the area. He let out a very soft growl and stood up and looked around. he couldn't smell any wolves nor could he even see any so where did the howl come from. He snorted and then sat down and looked down at Ivora as she slept. He sighed some and then nuzzled her softly and rose back up to survey the area. he was going to keep guard till she awoke. He wasn't really sure how he was going to get Ivora to like him or even allow him to be closer to her but he was determined to do it. He then watched as she got up in a hurry and moved away from him. He turned his head and kinda looked at Ivora.
Did he do something wrong. He folded his ears back and whined softly. He didn't know what he had done but he wasn't going to let her slip away. Not when he was so very close. he then heard the words slip from her mouth I-I'm Sorry vice kinda looked at the white female confused. what was she sorry for? He shook his head and then walked over to her and licked her cheek and nuzzled her. "You have no reason to be sorry Ivora"
|
[/b] He said as he sat down next to her and laid his tail down next to him. He finally heard her say something about the last male that treated her like that and then she seemed to just drift off. He looked at her and nudged her, "what? he what Ivora?"[/b] he asked as he looked at her He wanted to know what happened to make her not trust males any more. He turned his head towards the setting sun and smiled some as he sat there. he smiled and then stood up and let out a powerful howl. He wagged his tail and looked at Ivora and then licked her face and smiled. "Whatever he did Ivora, i wont do to you" he said as he stood there looking at her. Even though Vice's plan was to just get close to Ivora and then leave her. Though some where deep down Vice couldn't do that to Ivora. he was becoming attach the Ivora which was something that Vice was not planning. Digging her claws into the earth below, Ivora closed her eyes. She was still shaking uncontrollably, remembering Vice's touch and voice. They spun in her mind like a whirlpool, threatening to drown her. Why was she feeling like this? Why? She couldn't, males were bad, they were wrong. They were...
Blinking her eyes open, Ivora watched as Vice came over and licked her cheek. She tensed ever so slightly. His touch was welcoming to her, but her mind screamed 'no'. Wrapping her tail around her tightly, the she-wolf took a shaky breath to try and calm herself. She was stronger than this. She wasn't a weakling. What happened to her fierce fighting attitude and strength? 'It died alongside Tidus and Jaxian,' she thought with a pang. She missed her boys so much that it hurt. It hurt so badly. At Vice's touch, Ivora blinked at him and stared. His eyes drew her in again. She couldn't stop looking into them Shaking her head harshly, Ivora pinned her ears back.
Her words came flatly. "He left me." Shuddering, Ivora found herself pressing against Vice, not able to pull away from him no matter how much her mind screamed. And then she began to spill out to him. "And three days later, a band of rogue males came and killed my pups right in front of me." Ivora shook harder and she almost thought she was going to tumble over. Anguish and rage flowed from her as she recalled the attack.
'Laying down calmly, Ivora watched with warm eyes as the two pups pounced on one another, squealing in glee. The whiter and kinder of the two, Tidus, slapped a paw on Jaxian's tail and the pup yelped in surprise. "Gotcha!" Tidus squeaked before his brother leaped on him. Jax looked like his father, so much he seemed to be a replica. The mother let out a chuckle as she watched the pups tire themselves out.
Suddenly, there was a noise and a vicious scent. Ivora stood up quickly, her fur on end. The pups stopped their play when they saw their mother. "Mama?" Tidus woofed worriedly. "Is everything ok? What's out there?" Jaxian asked, looking around wildly. The forest around them erupted in snarling and growls. Four huge wolves stormed out on all sides. Two leaped on Ivora and pinned her as she screeched in surprise. The other two dove straight for the pups, their maniacal laughter filling the forest and echoing above the tree tops...'
Ivora winced, trying to erase the nightmare she had dreamed all too frequently. Shuddering, the white wolf laid down and stared off toward the sunset. She couldn't believe she was letting her memories torture her so much. Ivora was supposed to be stronger than this. All others were supposed to show her respect and maybe even fear. But now... She was dingy as a dirty piece of foliage. The pain of the past left such a deep gash in her that her thinking was altered and her feelings were blocked. She wanted to get rid of it all, drown out her sorrows and fears. Ivora wanted them gone for good, but she knew the hauntings would continue.
Sitting back up and staying beside Vice, the she-wolf glanced at him once again. He was different from other males, so she thought. He reminded her of Wave in so many ways it scared her. Just like with him, she was drawn into his eyes, almost not able to look away. Sighing, Ivora angled her muzzle toward the sky, her eyes clouded once again. "What a mess I am."

[bg=000000][atrb=width,450,true][atrb=border,0,true] He looked at the white female with the multi color hues and smiled. she was so much like taboo that it began to scare him to no end. He had thought that the taunting memory that taboo had left his mind long ago but it has still stayed and haunted him. He flicked his white ears and shook his head slightly as he sat there. he then looked down at her as he felt her pretty much throw herself at him. he was taken back and then heard the words He left me he looked down at her and sighed. He was starting to feel horrible about what he had planned to do. He flicked his ears and then wrapped his paw around her and held her close to his body. he was going to change his mind about leaving the female, or so he thought.
He then heard her explain her past of why she was the way she was at least to him it was an explanation. He could hear the pain in her voice as she spoke about wolves coming and killing her pups right before her eyes. He lowered his head down to hers and licked her ears softly. he then nuzzled her slightly, "I don't want to hurt you like he did Ivora. I really don't." he said as he sat there holding her tightly to his chest. He folded his ears against his white head and shuddered. He was starting to feel the same way that he felt about taboo back when they were actually a couple. He then looked up as a figure began to slowly appear before them. He barred his fangs and let out an aggressive snarl.
he wasn't about to let some ghost or whatever the damn thing was sweep in and steal Ivora from him. He stood up and lowered his head and snarled darkly. The hairs along his back began to stand up on end, and his upper lip began to quiver as he stood there watching as a wolf began to appear. He turned his head as it began to take form of a large, red, black and tan wolf appeared before him. he narrowed his emerald green eyes at the massive wolf that appeared. he stepped back slightly and stood infront of Ivora. He would protect the female if it was the last thing he did. He watched as the massive male walked right past him and looked at Ivora who now was looking towards the sky with her muzzle in the air.
"Dearest daughter, You have grown so much in the past years. I am sorry i can not be around, But you have to believe me when i tell you, not all males are horrible. I miss you so much Ivora, You are not a mess. You are my daughter and because of that you are the way you are. I am sorry. Please forgive me. But do not push this male away. He is not bad, though he was to begin with" Aerin spoke as he stood by his daughter. His ghost form towered over the small white female. He looked at Vice and then nodded his head. He bowed to the male and then looked at his daughter and smiled. "I love you Ivora, and I will never stop loving you" He then turned and headed into the shadow that he had been watching to begin with and simply disappeared into the shadows.
Vice watched as the male appeared and then spoke to Ivora. He turned his head and began to listen to what he was saying. He wasn't sure what was being said but he just hoped it would help Ivora feel better. He then watched as the male disappeared into shadows. He folded his ears back and then looked at Ivora as she stood there. He waited to see if she would talk to him now or if she would just stay there looking up at the sky.

As Vice's arm wrapped around her and pulled her close to him, Ivora suppressed a shudder and placed her muzzle to his chest. All she wanted to do was sit and forget, sit and forget... But she knew she couldn't. As his tongue passed over her ears and his words dazzled her fur, Ivora blinked slowly. She staid still, thinking over his words carefully. He didn't want to hurt her like Wave had. Wave had left without a warning, leaving her to be the sole caretaker of their young. Flattening her ears even more, Ivora closed her eyes, her head yet again spinning. Why did Vice have to do this? To make her mind a jumbled mess? ...Wave had done this.
Just then, the sound of a growl spooked her. She straightened up, fur bristling and eyes opening wide. She stared at Vice, lips twitching and threatening to snarl. He lied to her! He was being aggressive and- wait. He wasn't looking at her. What was he looking at? Smoothing her fur out, Ivora followed his gaze over to the shadows. Was something hiding there? As if to answer her question, the shape of a wolf appeared in ghostly fashion. He was marked with fur that made Ivora stare in shock. 'Aerin!' She stared at him, eyes wide as could be, as the spirit approached. Ivora looked him over, but sadly there wasn't much to see. She continued to watch and her ears raised as he spoke.
As he spoke of not all males being horrible, the white wolf flinched as the memories tumbled back. Wave leaving, the attack... But then, something else happened. Other memories hit her. She remembered the days she played and teased with Aerin and then she remembered Tidus and Jax playing. They were all males that had never meant her any harm. Her eyes widened further if it was even possible. Aerin was right.
As the ghost of her sire walked away, Ivora breathed, "I love you too, father." She blinked as he vanished from sight before looking toward Vice. He seemed to be unsure what to make of the appearance of a ghostly figure. Sighing, Ivora stood and padded over to him. She pressed her muzzle to his and breathed in, as if trying to take in his scent. As quick as the touch had happened, the wolf pulled away gently and sat. She no longer shook and no longer looked frail. Aerin's words had made her think and calmed her. In silence, she staid beside him, watching as the sun nearly vanished from the horizon. Maybe being around Vice wouldn't be so bad. Her father seemed to accept him, and Ivora found herself doing the same.

[bg=000000][atrb=width,450,true][atrb=border,0,true] Vice just sat there watching the multi hue male talked to the white female. He flicked his ears as he heard the single words, he was to begin with. His ears went back and a snarl erupted from him. so the ghost knew of the plan, he growled and then shook his head as he sat there and just listened to the male talk to Ivora. he sighed as he watched the massive male walk by and just disappear. He then turned his attention to Ivora and heard he whisper the words I love you too father. so the male that manifested before them was her father. Who knew, he was red tan and black and Ivora was a mixture of a bunch of colors. He sighed and then shook his head as he sat there.
He was taken back as she came up to him and pressed her muzzle into his and breathed in. his ears flicked some as he sat there and just looked at the female. What in the world was she doing, he felt her touch leave and then watched as she sat down next to her and watched the sunset. he turned his head to the female and smiled some as he seen that she was no longer shaking, He then turned his head up towards the sky and let out a long soft howl. He then looked down at Ivora and licked her cheek softly. He looked towards the sky again and licked his maw. He soon finally laid down and crossed his front paws and rested his head down on his white and black paws.
"So i take it that was your father?" he asked as he laid there looking up at the female. He had never really met his dad, but then again he couldn't really remember back then. he sighed and then looked at the stars. His eyes seemed to shimmer as the stars began to glow brightly and the moon came up and he smiled. He rose up and leaned against Ivora and nuzzled her "I wont leave you Ivora. And if I do i wont be able to live with myself" he spoke softly as he licked her and then pulled her close

The warm air was beginning to cool as the sun slipped past the horizon, leaving an orange glow to cape the mountains and treetops. The orange faded to a shadowed blue and illuminated stars began to flicker into view, emerging through the dark blanket that was the sky. With twitching ears atop her head, Ivora stared upward, watching the colors change and darken. A hush seemed to settle over the area, leaving the impression that the Earth itself was falling asleep. The only noise she acknowledged was the creek and the sound of Vice breathing beside her.
A howl caused Ivora to look at the side toward her company, eyes sparkling with curiosity. Flicking her ears back and forth, the she-wolf watched him sing and end the song. Blinking, she felt his tongue roll over her cheek and she continued to watch him. As he laid down, Ivora turned her eyes, a mismatched juxtaposition of lime and lemon, to the sky once more. When his voice tickled her ear fur, Ivora glanced down at the white-and-black male. She gave a small nod. "Yes. Though, I never knew he passed on." Blinking, she began to wonder with a pang if Aurora was gone too. Was everyone that she was close to dead and gone, lost to the nether region to wander forever? 'But they are at peace,' she reminded herself, sighing aloud. 'Sometimes I wish I was with them.'
Flashing a glance downward once more, Ivora caught a shimmer in Vice's eyes. They seemed to glow in the creeping darkness and, once again, Ivora couldn't stop herself from staring. What was it about his eyes that made her lose every sense of being and just gape? It surely had to be rude and uncomfortable to him. She broke her gaze away when he rose into a sit beside her. His fur touched hers and Ivora felt a rush bolt up her body, making her shiver for a split second. He was against her now, his heat slipping down her form and warming her from her toes to her nose. Vice's words seemed to make her hold her breath, ears once more twitching with uncertainty.
He said he wouldn't leave her. Why? They had just met, they hardly knew one another besides short exchanges of the past. Regardless, Ivora felt herself relish his words, wanting them to be true. Breathing in, the she-wolf found herself getting lost in his scent, spiraling endlessly down a path that that somehow she knew she wanted to take. It scared her. Ivora already felt herself becoming attached to this stranger, and what made it worse was that he was a male. But then Aerin's word came back to her, making sense once again: Not all men are bad. Blinking, the white white found herself laying her head against his chest and closed her eyes, exhaling slowly. She needed someone right now, maybe not a mate, but someone to keep her from going insane from loneliness and her own depression. Ivora heard herself breath the words, "Thank you," before she realized how close to Vice she was.
The wolf moved her head away, ears flat against her head and eyes remaining closed. Slipping down to the earth, Ivora felt herself curl up beside him, pressing her body to his flank to share his warmth. The night-time chill was sinking into the ground around her and the she-wolf held back a shiver that threatened to make her body shudder. Fatigue draped over her and Ivora found herself slowly lolling off into a dream state, not completely asleep but not fully awake. Ivora had never been this comfortable around a male for months, always shunning them and chasing them away or running. But now, things seemed to be slowly changing.

[bg=000000][atrb=width,450,true][atrb=border,0,true] It was amazing that Vice spoke the words that he would never leave the female. Who was he kidding, he was going to begin with. He shook his head, he heard Ivora's voice and smiled. "I don't think he passed on, maybe it was something that elders used to say, what was it, OH out of body experience, He could have knew you were in trouble and sent his spirit to help you" He said as he sat there, He knew some stuff about spirit stuff, he had followed a shaman back in a pack he helped out. He took a deep breath and nuzzled Ivora and licked the top of her head softly. He then looked around, He was falling for the multi hued female. He shook his head and then smiled softly, but it was feeling alright.
He knew that he would never hurt the female. he couldn't do it again to another female. He had hurt taboo way to much and didn't want to do it again. He took a deep breath and then heard her say something about thank you. He looked at her and kinda turned his head. Why was he being thanked. He didn't do anything, at least not to his knowledge. he then nodded his head "I don't know what i am being thanked for but your welcome" He said as he leaned against her and took in her scent. It was rather addicting to him, he watched as she slipped down to the cold earth. He flicked his ears and then slipped down next to her and wrapped his tail around her as best as he could and tried to keep her warm.
He was normally warmer then wolves and that seemed to be a good thing at the moment. he rested his head over hers and sighed some. he could feel her relax and he could just image her going to sleep Oh vice what have you gotten yourself into? he thought to himself as he laid there. Wind picked up and swirled around the two wolves. He shuddered and then pulled her closer to him and shook his head and rested it back down on Ivora. he closed his jade green eyes and soon slipped into a slumber. Something the male had not done in many days.
